USTravel  PFD Travel Extravaganza Prize Drawing

 Rules & Eligibility

1.  NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN.

2. The USTravel PFD Travel Extravaganza  is open only to persons who are 21 years of age or older.

3. USTravel PFD Travel Extravaganza  is limited to one entry per person. Any person who attempts to participate street addresses, under multiple identities or using any device or artifice to enter multiple times will be disqualified.

4.  USTravel PFD Travel Extravaganza Contest Sponsor is USTravel Alaska, LLC, having an address of 999 East Tudor Road Suite 200, Anchorage, AK 99503.

5. The Contest begins at 11:00 a.m.  AST on September 18, 2010 (the "Start Date") and ends at 3:00 p.m. ADT on September 18, 2010 (the "End Date").

6. Eleven prizes will be randomly drawn include:

  • One (1) cruise certificate for two on Azamara Club Cruises valued between $3398 and $8198 depending upon voyage taken onboard the Azamara Journey valid 9/19/2010-1/31/2011 for certificate winner and a guest.  Reservations must be made no sooner than 30 days and no later than 7 days prior to sailing.  Certificate winner is responsible for taxes, fees and $30 per person/per day Nonstandard Inclusive Charge.  Qualifying sailing dates are 11/29/2010, 12/11/2010, 1/08/2011, 01/19/2011, 01/30/2011. Certificate is only good for new reservations and is not transferable.  Cruise does not include air or ground transportation to the port of embarkation.  Eligible stateroom categories for this offer are 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 11 and 12.  Azamara Club Cruises’ nonstandard inclusion charge is $30 per person, per day and covers housekeeping, dining and bar gratuities, boutique red and white wines at lunch and dinner, bottled water, sodas, specialty coffees and teas, shuttle bus service to/from port communities where available, self-service laundry and concierge services.  Stateroom category upgrades and third and fourth guests in the same stateroom can be booked for additional fees, based on availability.  Fuel supplement charges may apply; please inquire with the Cruise Redemption Department for details.  This program is capacity-controlled and certain blackout dates apply. Azamara Club Cruises is not responsible for and will not replace lost, stolen or destroyed certificates.

 

  • One (1) certificate for two from Travel Impressions 3 nights at the Golden Crown Paradise Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico All Inclusive Value $1500.  Land only.  Please advise Travel Impressions and USTravel of requested travel dates no later than 21 days prior to departure date.  Winner will be notified as soon as the hotel confirms your requested dates and at that time you will be mailed or faxed your confirmation.  This prize is valid for travel until December 15, 2010.  This prize is subject to availability and blackout dates.  Travel Impressions will try to accommodate your request to the best of their ability.  This certificate is non-transferable, non-refundable, has no cash value and certain restrictions may apply.

 

  • One (1) Delta Vacation $200 certificate valid for any Delta Vacations air and hotel package restrictions apply.  Vacation package is non-transferable, non-refundable and has zero cash value.  Travel is not permitted on the following dates: 2010 – Nov 19-25, Dec 18-31, 2010. 2011 – Mar 11, April 3, 2011. Certificate cannot be sold. Travel must be round trip.  Reservations must be made and ticket issued prior to departure.  Travel must be completed by August 18, 2011.  If reservation exceeds the value of the certificate, recipient is responsible for any balance due and must be paid in full at time of booking. Hotel taxes, state and federal income taxes may apply are are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Winner must be 18 years of age and older. Space is subject to availability.  Standard Delta Vacations Terms and considitions apply and other airline, hotel or vendor restrictions may apply.

 

  • One (1) Brendan Vacations $1250 certificate valid for any escorted, independent or locally hosted vacation to Europe.  Credit valid for land only portion of any Brendan Vacations’ escorted, independent or locally hosted vacations, Voucher is valid for travel until Dec. 31, 2011.  Subject to availability, seasonality and blackout dates. Changes may apply. Offer is non transferable and other restrictions may apply.  Not combinable with any other offer.  Certificate has no cash value. 

 

  • One (1) Pleasant Holidays certificate for  two (2) nights at the  Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu and three (3) nights in Maui at the Sheraton Maui value $1250 restrictions apply.  Vacation is valid for travel through Dec. 15, 2011.  Hotels nights are non transferable, non refundable, not redeemable for cash and may not be sold.  Travel over holidays and other peak travel periods are restricted.  The recipient of this certificate is responsible for paying any resort fees, parking fees, room service charges and any other incidentals assessed directly by the hotel, and/or not directly specified above.  Travel is subject to availability and some restrictions may apply.  Airfare is not included. Extension to this certificate cannot be given.  A $250 change fee applies to all changes once itinerary is confirmed. A $200 fee will be charged for all cancellations.  Reservation are to be requested as soon as possible (30 day notice would be appreciated) and that you have an alternate date in mind should your first choice be unavailable.

 

  • One (1) Royal Caribbean $1500 certificate valid towards purchase of cruise restrictions apply.  Certificate valid until Aug. 18, 2011.  Valid towards purchase of cruise only.  Does not include gov’t fees, state and federal taxes and non discountable fees.  Valid for winner and guest towards any Royal Caribbean sailing excluding blackout dates.  Certificate has no cash value, is non-refundable and non-transferable. Air, transfers, gratuities, shore excursions, onboard expenses are not covered.

 

  • One (1) NCL $750 certificate valid towards purchase of cruise restrictions apply.  Certificate valid until Aug. 18, 2011.  Valid towards purchase of cruise only.  Does not include gov’t fees, state and federal taxes and non discountable fees.  Valid for winner and guest towards any NCL sailing excluding blackout dates.  Certificate has no cash value, is non-refundable and non-transferable. Air, transfers, gratuities, shore excursions, onboard expenses are not covered.

 

  • Two (2) USAirways $100 gift cards valid for credit towards air fare restrictions apply. 

Clear Channel 101.3 KGOT and Magic 98.9 Holland America cruise give away rules:

Restrictions:  Must be 21 and over, No purchase necessary to win, gov’t taxes and fees of $85.57 per person is the responsibility of the winner and must be paid at the time of confirmation of reservation, cruise must be taken on the date given by Holland America Line for this fall 2010.  Cruise has no monetary value.  Prize may not be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other prize by the winner. USTravel reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.  If the winner cannot use the designated travel prize that is date specific, NO SUBSTITUTES will be granted.  Federal income taxes on the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

1 (one) Cruise Package will be given away between 101.3 KGOT and Magic 98.9. 1 Entry per day per web-site.

7. Please note our company policy precludes us from accepting copies or other substitutes for the original document. Original document must be presented at time of reservation. USTravel is not responsible for loss or theft. 

8. Prizes may not be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other prize by the winner. USTravel reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.  If the winner cannot user the designated travel prize that is date specific, NO SUBSTITUTES will be granted.

9. HOW TO ENTER: All entrants must obtain official entry form at USTravel PFD Travel Extravaganza.  Form must be signed by all 10 travel vendors listed on entry form, completed with name, contact information and deposited into official entry bin.  All entries must be received by the Contest' End Date to be included in the drawing. No form of entry other than specified herein is permitted. DO NOT fax any entry forms to USTravel. No form of entry other than that specified herein is permitted. Use of automated, programmed, robotic or like forms of entry is prohibited. By entering the Contest, all entrants that provide an e-mail address agree to receive at least one e-mail from USTravel.

10.  USTravel is not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, mutilated, late or illegible entries. Entries that are generated by a script, macro, or other automated means are prohibited and such entries and/or those otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules are disqualified. All entries received by facsimile are disqualified. USTravel shall have the absolute right to determine in its sole discretion if an entry is in full compliance with these Official Rules without notice to the person attempting to enter.

11. By entering USTravel PFD Travel Extravaganza each participant warrants that he or she has read and agrees to abide by these Official Rules and that he or she is not prohibited from participating in the contest. Each participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless USTravel and its affiliates, employees, officers, directors, agents, sponsors, prize suppliers, and affiliated advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability arising from or related to theUSTravel PFD Extravaganza, including without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, or claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.

12. USTravel employees and agents, sponsors and consultants to USTravel, including also their family members (parents, children, siblings, and/or spouse) and members of their household (whether or not related), are not eligible to participate in USTravel PFD Travel Extravaganza.

13. The winners will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries on or about the afternoon of September 18, 2010. Selection results are final and binding, subject only to the terms of Rules 15, 16 and 17 below.

14. In the event a winning entry is discovered by USTravel to be invalid for any reason whatsoever, or the person who submitted the winning entry fails to comply with these Official Rules prior to delivery of the prize as determined by USTravel, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

15. If by reason of a printing or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these Official Rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a computerized random selection to award the advertised number of prizes available. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.

16. Attempts to notify the winner will be made only by the contact information submittedon the winning entry form. Notification will occur within thirty (30) days of the winner's selection. USTravel is not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failure or delivery problems of any kind. If USTravel is unable to make contact with the winner within thirty (30) days after USTravel first attempts to notify the winner, or if the winner fails to claim the Prize within thirty (30) days after USTravel first attempts to notify the winner, the Prize may be forfeited at the discretion of USTravel.

17. To obtain a list of the official winners (after the conclusion of the USTravel PFD Travel Extravaganza), send a self addressed stamped envelope to: Winner, "USTravel PFD Travel Extravaganza," 999 East Tudor Road, Anchorage, AK 99503. Please be certain to specify that you are requesting the "Official Winners USTravel PFD Travel Extravaganza".

18. Winners are responsible for reporting and paying any and all income, sales or excise taxes that may apply: USTravel is not liable for and will not pay any such taxes as may be imposed.

19. By entering the USTravel PFD Extravaganza, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, image and biographical data for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation. Because USTravel collects personal information from participants entering the drawing, USTravel encourages all participants to review its privacy policy, which can be viewed at www.ustravel.us.

20. USTravel reserves the right to terminate the Contest or modify any rules as necessary for any reason or as required by applicable law. USTravel reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify from the Contest, and/or ban from any future contests, any person it believes to have intentionally violated these Official Rules or tampered with any element of the Contest without notice to the disqualified and/or banned entrant.

21. All entry information and materials become the property of USTravel and will not be returned.

22. This contest is conducted in Alaska. The construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and USTravel in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska. By entering the contest, entrants agree that any legal action resulting from this Contest shall be brought only in a court of competent jurisdiction located in the Third Judicial District of Alaska.
